Cooper finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Cooper defeated Dustin Turcotte (Falher, AB) 8-3, then won 9-3 against Courtney Rossing (Grande Prairie, AB). Cooper went on to lose 5-2 against Doug Small (Grande Prairie, AB). Cooper lost 7-0 to Dumont where Cooper responded with a 7-2 win over Turcotte in their final qualifying round match.
