Sherry Middaugh (Coldwater, ON) qualified for the 2014 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 4-2 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB). of the 2014 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta;

Middaugh finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Middaugh defeated Teryn Hamilton (Calgary, AB) 7-6, then won 8-6 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB). Middaugh went on to lose 7-4 against Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO). Middaugh responded with a 4-3 win over Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
