James Grattan (Oromocto, NB) won 5-2 over Marc Pfister (Bern, SUI) in the Final of the Curling Masters Champery, held October 25 - 27, 2013 in Champery, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, Grattan won 9-3 over Grant Hardie (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2013 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland; and won 6-1 over Tomi Rantamaki (Helsinki, FIN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Curling Masters Champery in Champery, Switzerland;
 
Grattan finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Grattan defeated Alexander Baumann (Fuessen, GER) 6-3, then won 6-5 against Ritvars Gulbis (Riga, LAT) and 8-3 against Bernhard Werthemann (Berne, SUI). Grattan won 6-2 against Pfister, then won 6-5 against Aku Kauste (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Masters Champery Championship title, Grattan earned 12.750 world rankings points along with the $16,341CDN first prize cheque, moving up 18 spots the World Ranking Standings into 46th place overall with 33.800 total points. Grattan ranks 35th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 16.425 points earned so far this season.
