In their opening game, Karst lost 8-6 to Beth Bohlman (Grand Forks, ND), then responded with a 10-4 win over Sarah Walsh (San Francisco, CA). Karst went on to lose 10-1 against Janice Langanke (Plainfield, NJ). Karst responded with a 11-2 win over Brenda Mason (Midland, MI). Karst went on to lose 5-3 against Pam Wilson (Chicago, IL). Karst lost 7-6 to Em Good (Seattle, WA) where Karst responded with a 9-0 win over Eleanor Robertson (Portland, OR). Karst went on to lose 7-6 against Norma O'Leary (Duluth, MN). Karst responded with a 7-4 win over Nicole Reiser (Bismarck, ND) in their final qualifying round match.

. For week of the event schedule, Karst did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Karst ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
