Eirik Mjoen (Oslo, NOR) finished 5-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Mjoen defeated Gustav Eskilsson (Malung, SWE) 8-5, then won 6-5 against Amos Mosaner (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA) and 5-3 against Dongxu Jiang (Harbin, CHN). Mjoen won 7-6 against Andre Neuenschwander (Zurich, SUI). Mjoen went on to lose 9-3 against Kyle Smith (Perth, SCO). Mjoen lost 7-4 to Korey Dropkin (Wayland, USA) where Mjoen responded with a 8-3 win over Marek Cernovsky (Praha, CZE). Mjoen went on to lose 9-6 against Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, CAN). Mjoen lost 8-3 to Evgeniy Arkhipov (Moscow, RUS) in their final qualifying round match.
