Cathy Auld (Mississauga, ON) qualified for the 2013 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 5-4 against Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB). of the 2013 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta;

Auld finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Auld defeated Kristie Moore (Grande Prairie, AB) 5-4, then went on to lose 4-3 against Shannon Kleibrink (Calgary, AB). Auld responded with a 7-4 win over Laura Crocker (Edmonton, AB). Auld went on to lose 4-3 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Auld responded with a 6-1 win over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Auld earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown, remaining in 27th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 79.520 total points. Auld ranks 22nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 56.445 points earned so far this season.
