To advance to the championship game, Ott won 6-4 over Chelsea Carey (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2013 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 6-5 over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2013 Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta;
Ott finished 4-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ott defeated Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) 5-2, then won 4-3 against Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) and 7-2 against Amber Holland (Regina, SK). Ott won 5-4 against Delia DeJong (Sexsmith, AB). Ott went on to lose 6-5 against Heather Nedohin (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Pomeroy Inn & Suites Prairie Showdown Championship title, Ott earned 40.000 world rankings points along with the $10,800CDN first prize cheque. Ott move up 3 spots after posting a net gain of 34 points improving upon their best results so far this season, ranking 5th overall with 250.055 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Ott ranks 7th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 121.400 points earned so far this season.
