Owen lost 9-2 to Jessie Kaufman (Edmonton, AB) where Owen responded with a 4-2 win over Shana Snell (Calgary, AB). Owen won 6-1 against Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC), then won 5-1 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Owen earned 15.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Red Deer Curling Classic, remaining in 22nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 77.183 total points. Owen ranks 25th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 21.000 points earned so far this season.
