Sonnenberg responded with a 4-3 win over Kelly Scott (Kelowna, BC). Sonnenberg won 5-4 against Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB), then won 9-8 against Allison MacInnes (Kamloops, BC). Sonnenberg went on to lose 9-4 against Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB). Sonnenberg responded with a 6-2 win over Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
