DeJong responded with a 6-2 win over Sonnenberg. DeJong won 10-7 against Lindsay Makichuk (Lloydminster, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

DeJong earned 8.220 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Boundary Ford Curling Classic.
