Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) won 6-3 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the Final of the GP Car and Home Players' Championship, held April 12 - 18, 2011 in Grande Prairie, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 7-6 over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2011 GP Car and Home Players' Championship in Grande Prairie, Alberta; and won 6-2 over Braeden Moskowy (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.
 
Martin finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Steve Petryk (Calgary, AB) 5-2, then won 5-4 against Allan Lyburn (Brandon, MB) and 5-1 against Glenn Howard (Coldwater, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the GP Car and Home Players' Championship Championship title, Martin earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 27 after improving upon their best so far this season. Martin ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 256.040 points earned so far this season.
