In their opening game, Balsdon defeated Chris Gardner (Ottawa, ON) 9-6, then won 9-5 against Nick Rizzo (Brantford, ON) and 10-6 against Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON). Balsdon went on to lose 8-5 against Mark Kean (Ajax, ON). Balsdon lost 9-7 to Howard where Balsdon responded with a 11-6 win over John Epping (Toronto, ON). Balsdon won 6-3 against Mark Bice (Sarnia, ON), then won 8-0 against Peter Corner (Toronto, ON) and 9-4 against Jake Higgs (Harrison, ON). Balsdon went on to lose 10-6 against Howard Rajala (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the ON - The Dominion Tankard, Balsdon take home 11.600 world rankings points. For week 23 of the event schedule, Balsdon did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Balsdon ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
