Bryden finished 5-2 in the 28-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bryden defeated
Randy Woytowich (Regina, SK) 5-3, then won
6-3 against
Jeff Hartung (Langenburg, SK). Bryden went on to lose
6-3 against
Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK). Bryden lost
6-5 to
Elias where Bryden responded with a
6-5 win over
Darrell McKee (Saskatoon, SK). Bryden won
7-4 against
Warren Hassall (Lloydminster, AB), then won
5-4 against
Scott Egger (Brooks, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Point Optical Curling Classic, Bryden take home
