Germany's Daniel Neuner. Ulsrud won
7-3 against
Claudio Pescia (St. Galler, SUI), then won
9-5 against
Peter Loudon (Perth, SCO) and
6-2 against
Switzerland's Florian Meister in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Lucerne Curling Trophy Championship title, Ulsrud earned
18.550 world rankings points along with the $10,395CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Ulsrud did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the
