Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) won 8-7 over Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) in the Final of the Grey Power Players' Championship, held April 13 - 18, 2010 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Martin won 6-1 over Jeff Stoughton (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship in Dawson Creek, British Columbia; and won 7-5 over Niklas Edin (Karlstad, SWE) in the quarterfinals.
 
Martin finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin defeated Jake Higgs (Harrison, ON) 6-3, then won 9-2 against Bob Ursel (Kelowna, BC) and 6-2 against Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Grey Power Players' Championship Championship title, Martin earned 45.000 world rankings points along with the $25,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Martin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Martin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
