Brad Gushue (St. John's, NL) lost 8-7 to Kevin Martin (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Grey Power Players' Championship, held April 13 - 18, 2010 in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Gushue won 6-4 over Kevin Koe (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship in Dawson Creek, British Columbia; and won 8-3 over Randy Ferbey (Edmonton, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2010 Grey Power Players' Championship in Dawson Creek, British Columbia;
 
Gushue finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated Martin Ferland (Quebec, QC) 8-4, then won 7-4 against Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON) and 6-3 against Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Grey Power Players' Championship, Gushue take home 30.000 world rankings points along with the $16,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Gushue did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Gushue ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
