Gushue finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gushue defeated

Dale Matchett (Bradford, ON) and
6-3 against
Pat Simmons (Davidson, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Grey Power Players' Championship, Gushue take home
30.000 world rankings points along with the $16,000CDN prize. For week of the event schedule, Gushue did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the
