In their opening game, Scheidegger defeated Tiffany Game (Edmonton, AB) 6-3, then went on to lose 7-3 against Maria Bushell (Calgary, AB). Scheidegger responded with a 7-3 win over Amber Holland (Kronau, SK). Scheidegger won 5-2 against Allison Earl (Calgary, AB), then won 8-4 against Japan's Yukako Tsuchiya and 9-4 against Valerie Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Meyers Norris Penny Charity Classic Championship title, Scheidegger earned 0.000 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque. For week of the event schedule, Scheidegger did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
