8-7 to Patty Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK), droppimg another game, 10-3 to Alberta's Karen Powell where Funk responded with a 4-3 win over Renelle Bryden (Calgary, AB). Funk went on to lose 9-8 against Bingyu Wang (Harbin, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.
 
. For week of the event schedule, Funk did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Funk ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
