Woytowich lost 6-4 to Bruce Korte (Saskatoon, SK) where Woytowich responded with a 8-7 win over Al Moore (North Vancouver, BC). Woytowich won 5-2 against Mickey Pendergast (Calgary, AB). Woytowich went on to lose 8-4 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
