A blank and a single for Gray-Withers in five and six tied the game up going into the last two ends. Reese-Hansen secured an all important deuce in the seventh end and Gray-Withers could only manage a single in eight, giving Reese-Hansen the 5-6 victory and a spot in the final. Team Richards - Gracelyn Richards, Emma Yarmuch, Sophia Ryhorchuk and Rachel Jaques - finished 3-2 through pool play, second rank in pool B. This ranking earned them a spot in semifinal number one Friday morning. In the other semifinal, Richards, out of Edmonton, would face Emma Artichuk from Manotick, Ontario. The game started slow with two blanks before Richards got a huge steal of two in the third to open the game up. Artichuck would even the game up with a single in the fourth and a steal of one in the sixth.
