Williamson scored a single in the third end, then forced Barker to a single in the fourth end to tie the game at 2. Barker added a steal in the fifth end, then forced Williamson to a single in the sixth end to square the game at 3. After a blank end in the seventh end, Barker scored a single the eighth end for the 4-3 win. In the semifinals, Barker defeated Patty Hersikorn (Saskatoon, SK) 7-5 and Williamson defeated Stephanie Todd (Regina, SK) 5-2. Todd and Hersikorn earned $700CDN and 9.504 ranking points for their semifinal finishes.
