Turning the temperature up January 11th-14th, 2024, the ASTEC SAFETY CHALLENGE will take centre stage at the Lloydminster Golf & Curling Centre.

The Lloydminster Curling Club will host this brand-new event on the PLAYERS TOUR schedule, featuring 24 of the world's best men's curling teams.

"Thanks to our partnership with TEAM BOTTCHER, what was just a briefly discussed concept last summer will be an opportunity for many of the teams heading to the Canadian Open Grand Slam in Red Deer to round into top form," said Caitlin Mulligan, Event Chair.

ASTEC SAFETY CHALLENGE Format:

24 TEAMS - Triple Knock-out - 8 Qualifiers - $100,000 purse

While the curling will be the main attraction, there will be something for everyone with a Junior Curling Development Session hosted by TEAM BOTTCHER, a memorable kick-off event on January 10th, and fun-filled entertainment venues in and around Lloydminster, throughout the ASTEC SAFETY PLAYERS TOUR CHALLENGE.

"TEAM BOTTCHER & ASTEC SAFETY have demonstrated a commitment to growing the game in our region. We are excited to partner with them to host this world-class curling event at the Lloydminster Curling Club". Mike Robson, President-LCC.

Information concerning Team Registration, Steering Committee, Sponsorship Opportunities, Volunteer Recruitment, and Ticket Packages will be released as details are finalized.
