Starting with hammer, Sinclair blanked the first end, got on the board scoring 3 in the second end, then forced McCarville to a single in the third end. Sinclair scored 2 in the fourth end to extend lead to 5-1, then forced McCarville to a single in the fifth end. Sinclair scored a single in the sixth end, McCarville responded in the seventh end scoring 2. added a steal in the eighth end fell shorty giving Sinclair the 6-5 win. In the semifinals, Sinclair defeated Hollie Duncan (Toronto, ON) 5-4 and McCarville defeated Eve Belisle (Montreal, QC) 7-3. Belisle won $3,800CDN, while Duncan won $3,700CDN along 25.373 ranking points for their semifinal finishes. In the quarterfinals, Duncan defeated Hannah Fleming (Lockerbie, SCO) 8-6 and Belisle defeated Laurie St-Georges (Laval, QC) 4-3.
