Grandy and her team of Kayla MacMillan, Lindsay Dubue and Sarah Loken are showing their merit early as Scotties rookies, facing three teams with oodles of experience at the "Show". "Feeling good with our start, 2-1 is a great spot to be," said Grandy following the game. "Happy about that." After blanking the first end, Grandy scored four in the second end to get off to a quick start. Silvernagle fought back to tie the game with three two-point ends into the eighth end, where Grandy added another four-score. After Grandy added a steal in the ninth end, Silvernagle conceded an 11-6 decision. Grandy will next faces Christina Black of Nova Scotia on Monday at 8:30 am PT (11:30 am ET) while Silvernagle drops to 1-2 and will face off against Quebec's Laurie St-Georges at 1:30 pm PT (4:30 pm ET).
