Starting with hammer, Jacobs scored 1 in the first end, Koe responded in the second end scoring 3. then added a steal in the third end, added another steal of 2 in the fourth end, and stole 2 more in the fifth end for the 8-1 win. In the semifinals, Koe defeated Simmons 5-3 and Jacobs defeated Flasch 7-5 in an extra end. Simmons and Flasch earned $6,000CDN and 34.996 ranking points for their semifinal finishes. In the quarterfinals, Koe defeated Hartung 6-5 in an extra end, Jacobs defeated Dunstone 6-2.
