Last season, Homan put up a 75-9 record. Winning their second straight world title last season, Homan continues to look like the favourite to win the 2026 Olympics. They kick off their season in Cornwall, Ontario, at the AMJ Campbell Shorty Jenkins Classic. Last season at this event, Homan went a perfect 8-0, defeating Switzerland's Silvana Tirinzoni 6-5 in the final. They kick off their event on Thursday with games against Sweden's Isabella Wrana (#12) at 2:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) and Quebec's Laurie St-Georges (#50) at 8:00 pm ET. They continue round-robin on Friday against British Columbia's Kayla Macmillan (#32) at 11:00 am ET and Switzerland's Xenia Schwaller (#11) at 8:00 pm ET. They wrap up the round-robin on Saturday with their lone game against Quebec's Lauren Mann (#87) at 11:00 am ET.
