Danielle Inglis, with Kira Brunton at third, Calissa Daly, and Cassandra de Groot on the front end, looks to have a strong start to the new season.

Last season, they accomplished a playoff appearance at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, alongside an appearance at the WFG Masters. They also earned themselves a spot at the 2025 Canadian Olympic Pre-Trials in Wolfville, Nova Scotia.

They start their season in Oakville, Ontario and the Stu Sells Oakville Tankard. Last season at this event, they went 3-1, qualifying on the A-side for the playoffs. Then they ultimately lost their quarterfinal match against China's Rui Wang 7-1.

This is a 24-team triple knockout event. Three teams will qualify for the playoffs on the A and B sides. Then, two teams will qualify on the C-side. From there, eight teams will face off in the playoffs with a single elimination quarter-final, semi-final and final.

In their opening game, Inglis will face Korea's GunWoo Park on Friday at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time (ET). Their second game will be against the winner/loser of Switzerland's Xenia Schwaller and Northern Ontario's Abby Deschene game, depending on the results.
