Sophie Abbs (Okotoks, AB) lost 6-5 to Sierra Androschuk (Drayton Valley, AB) in the Final of the North Hill Thanksgiving U18 Bonspiel, held October 10 - 12 at the North Hill Curling Club in Calgary, Canada. Abbs finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Abbs defeated Alberta's Evelyn Larter 7-1, then won 9-1 against Callie Padget (Okotoks, AB) and 11-4 against Alberta's Katherine Sipka. Abbs went on to lose 5-2 against Androschuk in their final qualifying round match.
