Garner finished 5-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Garner defeated Ryne Fisher (Uxbridge, ON) 6-5, then went on to lose 8-5 against William Jewell (Acton, ON). Garner responded with a 10-4 win over Tyler Smith (Charlottetown, PEI). Garner won 6-5 against Rowe, then won 7-5 against Jackson Marchant (Richmond Hill, ON). Garner went on to lose 9-7 against Nicholls. Garner responded with a 7-5 win over Evan MacDougall (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
