In their opening game, McDonah lost 10-2 to Mackenzie Arbuckle (Winnipeg, MB), droppimg another game, 10-3 to Julia Evans (Oromocto, NB) where McDonah responded with a 8-6 win over Adrianna Hendrick (Inuvik, NT). McDonah won 5-4 against Ella Lenentine (Cornwall, PEI). McDonah went on to lose 7-4 against Tori Zemmelink (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
