Egidio Marchese (Trentino, ITA) finished 2-4 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Marchese lost 6-4 to Marie Wright (Moose Jaw, SK), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Mark Ideson (Ilderton, ON) where Marchese responded with a 10-4 win over Hugh Nibloe (Stirling, GBR). Marchese won 7-3 against Wright. Marchese went on to lose 9-2 against Ideson. Marchese lost 6-1 to Nibloe in their final qualifying round match.
