Andrea Kelly (Fredericton, NB) lost 5-3 to Sylvie Quillian (Moncton, NB) in the Final of the Steele Cup Cash, held October 10 - 12 at the Capital Winter Curling Club in Fredericton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kelly won 10-2 over Melissa Adams (Fredericton, NB) in the semifinals of the Steele Cup Cash in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada;
Kelly finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kelly defeated Amanda Power (Cornwall, PEI) 8-2, then went on to lose 5-4 against Taylour Stevens (Halifax, NS). Kelly responded with a 4-3 win over Cassidy Blades (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Steele Cup Cash, Kelly take home 7.700 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN prize. For week 12 of the event schedule, Kelly did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kelly ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
