Makenzie Kennedy (Beaumont, AB) won 4-3 over Katherine Sipka (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the Grand Slam Tour Challenge U15, held October 14 - 19 at the Beaumont Curling Club in Beaumont, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Kennedy won 9-3 over Ben Meyers (Carstairs, AB) in the semifinals
 
Kennedy finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kennedy defeated Rachel Cocks (Leader, SK) 9-3, then won 11-3 against Brennan Lougheed (Langley, BC) and 6-4 against Isla Kay (Edinburgh, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
