Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) qualified for the AMJ Masters Tier 2 playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Madeleine Dupont (Hvidovre, DEN). of the AMJ Masters Tier 2 in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada;

Lawes finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawes defeated Danielle Inglis (Ottawa, ON) 7-4, then won 7-5 against Tabitha Peterson (Chaska, MN). Lawes went on to lose 9-0 against Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR). Lawes responded with a 6-5 win over Chelsea Principi (Niagara Falls, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Lawes earned 17.100 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the AMJ Masters Tier 2. For week 10 of the event schedule, Lawes did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 14th to 16th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 177.675 total points. Lawes ranks 8th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 65.550 points earned so far this season.
