Kim/Kim went on to lose 11-3 against Min Ji Kim/ByeongJin Jeong (Gyeonggi, KOR). Kim/Kim responded with a 7-4 win over Eunchae Lee/MinWoo Kim (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
