Evelina Barone (Riga, LAT) lost 7-5 to Torhild Bjoernstad (Lillehammer, NOR) in the Final of the Match Town Trophy, held October 2 - 5 in Jonkoping, Sweden. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Barone won 5-3 over Moa Dryburgh (Sundbyberg, SWE) to advance to the championship game. of the Match Town Trophy in Jonkoping, Sweden;

Barone finished 4-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barone defeated Elodie Jerger (Flims, SUI) 9-4, then went on to lose 6-4 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Barone responded with a 5-0 win over Sarah Mueller (Lucerne, SUI). Barone won 8-5 against Molly Mabergs (Harnosand, SWE), then won 6-5 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Match Town Trophy, Barone take home 12.100 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 11 of the event schedule, Barone did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Barone ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
