Hiroki Hasegawa (Sapporo, JPN) won 8-5 over Rio Hayashi (Hokkaido, JPN) in the Final of the Morioka City Mens Memorial Cup, held June 7 - 8 in Morioka, Japan. To advance to the championship game, Hasegawa won 12-7 over Chikara Segawa (Morioka, JPN) in the semifinals

For winning the Morioka City Mens Memorial Cup Championship title, Hasegawa earned 6.750 world rankings points along with the $753CDN first prize cheque.
