Irwin finished 3-0 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Irwin defeated Austin Kadlec (Rice Lake, WI) 9-4, then won 5-4 against Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-3 against Walter in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the MCT Atkins Curling Supplies Classic Championship title, Irwin earned 17.250 world rankings points along with the $2,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 15 of the event schedule, Irwin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
