Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) lost 10-3 to Kristy Watling (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Challenge, held September 26 - 28 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. To advance to the championship game, McLeod won 8-6 over Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 8-1 over Darcy Robertson (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the MCT Challenge in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;

McLeod finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McLeod defeated Manitoba's Marlene Lang 10-2, then won 7-1 against Lane Prokopowich (Winnipeg, MB). McLeod went on to lose 6-4 against Dundas. McLeod responded with a 6-4 win over Sarah-Jane Sass (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the MCT Challenge, McLeod take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN prize. For week 10 of the event schedule, McLeod did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McLeod ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
