Brett Walter (Winnipeg, MB) lost 5-4 to Braden Calvert (Winnipeg, MB) in the Final of the MCT Challenge, held September 26 - 28, 2025 at the St. Vital Curling Club in Winnipeg, Canada. Walter finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walter defeated Manitoba's Stefan Gudmundson 8-2, then went on to lose 9-6 against Jace Freeman (Virden, MB). Walter responded with a 6-3 win over Chase Sinnett (Chaska, MN). Walter won 7-6 against Mike Siwicki (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
