Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) won 11-2 over New Brunswick's Melodie Forsythe in the Final of the U25 NextGen Classic, held August 26 - 28, 2025 at the Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Gray-Withers won 6-5 over Emma Artichuk (Waterloo, ON) in the semifinals
 
Gray-Withers finished 5-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Gray-Withers defeated British Columbia's Kayla Wilson 11-2, then won 6-4 against Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) and 5-2 against Keelie Duncan (Calgary, AB). Gray-Withers won 9-3 against New Brunswick's Melodie Forsythe, then won 8-1 against Gracelyn Richards (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the U25 NextGen Classic Championship title, Gray-Withers earned 24.000 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 34th place overall with 93.688 total points. Gray-Withers ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.000 points earned so far this season.
