Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) won 7-4 over Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in the Final of the KIOTI GSOC Tahoe, held November 4 - 9, 2025 in Tahoe, Nevada. To advance to the championship game, Homan won 6-3 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the semifinals of the 2025 KIOTI GSOC Tahoe in Tahoe, Nevada; and won 7-2 over Bobae Kang (Jeonbuk, KOR) in the quarterfinals.
Homan finished 4-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) 9-4, then won 7-5 against Momoha Tabata (Sapporo, JPN) and 8-3 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB). Homan won 10-3 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the KIOTI GSOC Tahoe Championship title, Homan earned 75.000 world rankings points along with the $44,000CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 33.75 after improving upon their best so far this season. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 267.900 points earned so far this season.
