Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) finished 6-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Homan defeated Kate Cameron (St. Adolphe, MB) 16-5, then won 8-2 against Christina Black (Halifax, NS). Homan went on to lose 8-7 against Kayla Skrlik (Calgary, AB). Homan responded with a 12-5 win over Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). Homan won 10-3 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC), then won 8-7 against Kaitlyn Lawes (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-6 against Kerri Einarson (Gimli, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials Championship title, Homan earned 72.750 world rankings points, remaining in 1st place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 31.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Homan ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 340.650 points earned so far this season.
