Gray-Withers went on to lose 5-4 against Reese-Hansen. Gray-Withers responded with a 6-5 win over Keelie Duncan (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the SGI Canada Best of the West Championship title, Gray-Withers earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque.
