Dominique Vivier (Oakville, ON) finished 5-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Vivier lost 8-4 to Myla Plett (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 9-5 to Cassidy Dundas (Winnipeg, MB) where Vivier responded with a 8-4 win over Sophie Blades (Cornwall, PEI). Vivier won 10-4 against Anne Sophie Gionest (Saguenay, QC). Vivier went on to lose 6-5 against Melodie Forsythe (Fredericton, NB). Vivier responded with a 11-4 win over Ava Beausoleil (Saskatoon, SK). Vivier won 8-1 against Kate Weissent (Halifax, NS), then won 8-6 against Cailey Locke (St. John's, NL) in their final qualifying round match.

Vivier earned 1.875 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 35 of the event schedule, Vivier did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Vivier ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
