MacFadyen lost 14-2 to Simon Perry (St. John's, NL). MacFadyen lost 9-2 to Calan MacIssac (Halifax, NS). MacFadyen lost 10-4 to Noah Garner (Mississauga, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

MacFadyen earned 0.188 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins.
