Ingvild Skaga (Stabekk, NOR) finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Skaga lost 7-6 to Sylvi Hausstatter (Lillehammer, NOR), then responded with a 9-2 win over Tone Aspeli (Hedmarken, NOR). Skaga won 6-4 against Torhild Bjoernstad (Oppdal, NOR). Skaga went on to lose 9-2 against Marianne Roervik (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

Skaga earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Skaga did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Skaga ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
