Matt Dunstone (Winnipeg, MB) lost 5-3 to Brad Jacobs (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Montana's Brier, held February 28 - March 9, 2025 in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Dunstone finished 7-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dunstone defeated Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB) 6-2, then won 13-2 against Shane Latimer (Iqaluit, NU) and 7-4 against Cameron de Jong (Victoria, BC). Dunstone went on to lose 8-7 against John Epping (Sudbury, NO). Dunstone responded with a 5-4 win over Ty Dilello (St. John's , NL). Dunstone won 9-3 against James Grattan (Oromocto , NB), then won 8-6 against Reid Carruthers (Winnipeg, MB) and 7-6 against Brad Gushue (St. John's, CAN) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Montana's Brier, Dunstone take home 49.500 world rankings points. Dunstone move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 24 points improving upon their best 8 results so far this season, ranking 2nd overall with 338.375 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
