In their opening game, Wang defeated Phichayathida Jaosap (Bangkok, THA) 19-1, then won 14-2 against Ko Yang (Taipei City, TPE) and 14-0 against Amna Al-Qaet (Doha, QAT). Wang won 11-4 against Tilsimay Alliyarova (Almaty, KAZ), then won 9-3 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG). Wang went on to lose 4-3 against Gim. Wang responded with a 9-5 win over Kathleen Dubberstein (Manilla, PHI). Wang won 6-2 against Miura in their final qualifying round match.
