Kyeongae Kim (Gangneung, KOR) lost 7-6 to Tori Koana (Yamanasshi, JPN) in the Final of the Asian Winter Games, held February 4 - 8, 2025 in Harbin, China. To advance to the championship game, Kim won 8-4 over Yu Han (BEIJING, CHN) in the semifinals of the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China; and won 11-4 over Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG) in the quarterfinals. of the 2025 Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China;
 
Kim finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kim lost 12-6 to Philippines's Kathleen Dubberstein, then responded with a 14-1 win over Qatar's Mubarkah Al-Abdulla. Kim won 12-0 against Kazakhstan's Amina Seitzhanova. Kim went on to lose 6-4 against Han. Kim responded with a 14-3 win over Kyrgystan's Keremet Asanbaeva in their final qualifying round match.
